Washington Senator Maria Cantwell was doing a great job ripping into the "dangerous" American Health Care Act at a press conference yesterday, noting that the law would cover fewer people under Medicaid and shift more costs to the states. That is, before she chose to invoke "Mr." Macklemore and his 2012 album. A mic drop, it was not.
Senator Cantwell, thank you. (And, sorry, Ryan Lewis.) Naturally, people on Twitter were falling over themselves to make their own rap analogies.
